Ceramic Coating step by step
Booking & preparation
You pick the main service and any add-ons online, and we message an ETA on the day. Note: in wet weather, ceramic coating must be carried out in a covered area so the coating applies and cures properly.
Walk-around
A quick walk-around to confirm the scope of work, note special requests, and agree the final cost before starting.
Exterior detailing
Foam pre-wash, a safe hand wash, deep cleaning of wheels, tyres and wheel wells, bug and grime removal, and door jambs.
Paint decontamination
Iron remover and a clay bar treatment eliminate embedded contaminants: brake dust, industrial fallout and surface impurities.
Paint correction / polishing (add-on)
Machine polishing enhances gloss and removes imperfections before the coating is applied.
Ceramic coating application
Professional ceramic coating application, levelled and buffed for maximum gloss, durability, hydrophobic protection and a flawless finish.
Final touches
Final quality finishing: streak inspection, microfibre wipe-down, tyre shine application and gloss enhancement.
Completion
A final walkthrough with you, warranty and CARFAX registration completed, and payment finalised.
Initial cure
The vehicle must stay in a dry, sheltered environment for at least 30–60 minutes before driving, and ideally 4 to 24 hours before any exposure to water or moisture.
Full cure
The coating continues curing chemically for roughly 3 to 10 days, and sometimes up to 2 weeks depending on conditions. During this period, avoid washing the vehicle, and remove bird droppings, tree sap or contaminants as soon as possible to protect the fresh coating.
Add-on window application: a glass coating for improved visibility, hydrophobic protection and easier maintenance in rain and harsh conditions. Add-on wheel application: long-lasting protection against brake dust, road grime, heat exposure and contamination.
